Is Britain a load of old rubbish? Or are we finally starting to get the message when it comes to recycling? Metro goes through the waste figures to find out.
I try not to be an angry vegan
Don’t want to scare you away.
I feel compassion for the human
As well as animals every day.
But sometimes it’s hard to stay calm
When you disregard the pain of others.
When you pay to keep slaves on the farm,
For the babies ripped from their mothers.
It’s hard to always be cheerful
In the face of what I know.
But I know that if I’m not cheerful
You’ll just turn tail and go.
I try to smile and be patient
When you say you don’t like vegan food,
But since what you like isn’t the point
I’m sometimes in a bad mood.
